We have released new installers for Fender Studio Pro 8 and Presonus Studio One v5-7, for Impact series, Panorama series and Pacer controllers. You can find the latest installers on the ‘My Account’ page of the Nektar website. If you have and Aruba controller please contact [email protected].

We would recommend running the uninstaller for the older Studio One integration before running the new installer. If you have trouble with the uninstaller, you can find manual uninstall instructions below. 

 

MacOS

  • Close any applications you have open
  • Open a Finder window
  • Open the ‘Go’ menu at the top of the screen
  • With the Go menu open, hold the Alt/Option key on your keyboard
  • Select ‘Library’ from the Go menu
  • In the Finder window, open the ‘Application Support’ folder
  • Open the ‘Presonus’ folder
  • Open the ‘Studio One 7’ folder
  • Open the ‘User Devices’ folder
  • Right-click on the ‘Nektar’ folder and select Delete
  • Go back to the ‘Application Support’ folder
  • Open the ‘Fender’ folder
  • Open the ‘Studio Pro 8’ folder
  • Open the ‘User Devices’ folder
  • Right-click on the ‘Nektar’ folder, if it’s present and select Delete

Windows

  • Close any applications you have open
  • Open a File Explorer 
  • Navigate to C:\Users\<your user account>\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 7\User Devices*
  • Delete the ‘Nektar’ folder
  • Go back to the ‘Roaming’ folder
  • Open the ‘Fender’ folder
  • Open the ‘Studio Pro 8’ folder
  • Open the ‘User Devices’ folder
  • Delete the ‘Nektar’ folder if it’s present

*Note: This is a hidden directory. To access this directory you will need to configure Windows to ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ and deactivate ‘Hide Protected Operating System files’. Please follow the instructions on this page: Show hidden files.

Once you have done that, the controller should be detected and configured in Fender Studio, automatically.
