Locking Panorama Mixer Mode in Reason
When you save a project, the mixer device that you locked to Panorama's Mixer Mode will still be locked the next time you open the project.
It's a good idea to create a default template project with your most used mixer device locked to Panorama's Mixer Mode, so you don't have to lock the mixer each time you create a new project.
You may notice that all the active devices in your project are available in the Surface Locking window. Most Instrument, effects and other devices cannot be controlled from Mixer mode (that is what Instrument mode is for). If you try to lock Subtractor to Mixer Mode, for example, you will just see the message which indicates that no device is locked to Mixer Mode.
The following devices can be locked to Mixer Mode:
- The SSL Mixer's Master section- ReMix 14:2- MicroMix 6:2- The ReGroove Mixer
