Does the Panorama T-series replace Panorama P4 and P6?
No.The Nektar Panorama T-series is placed between the Impact LX+ and Panorama P-series in our product range.
What are the differences between Panorama T-series and P-series?
•Keybed: P-series weighted action / T-series Gen2 synth-action
•Motor Fader only on P4 and P6
•Display: Colour TFT on P4 and P6 / one colour LCD on T-series
•Pads: 12 on P-series, 8 on T-series (with bank button)
•P-series pads are unlit, T-series pads have colour LED illumination
•Controls: The P-series has additional rotary encoders above the fader section
•DAW-support: T-series includes MCU-support allowing the control of almost any DAW. DAWs supported by Nektar DAW Integration have extended features.
• PlugIn-Control: P-series DAW Integration includes deep maps, T-series includes standard maps + Nektarine for universal deep plugin control
•Nektarine: Available only for T-series at the moment. Nektarine will be updated to support P-series by year-end.
•Performance Features: T-series introduces note repeat features with built-in timing engine for keys and pads.

What’s the difference between DAW control via Nektar DAW Integration and MCU (Mackie Control Universal)?
MCU enables basic mixer and transport control in any DAW with MCU-support, without installing any additional software: simply activate MCU in your DAW. Nektar DAW Integration gives you additional features, including dedicated maps for DAW-included plugins and Grab/learn for instant parameter access.
Can I split and layer the Panorama T-series keyboard?
No. The Panorama T-series does not offer internal split/layer/zone features.
What DAWs are supported by Nektar DAW Integration?
The Panorama T-series includes dedicated support for Bitwig Studio, Cubase, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper and Reason.
Will there be Ableton Live DAW support for Panorama T4 and T6?
Panorama T4 and T6 already support Ableton Live via MCU, and with Nektarine you have full access to VST, VST3 and AU instrument plugin control.
Does Panorama T4 and T6 work with Apple Mainstage?
Yes. Apple Mainstage is a highly user-customizable software environment for taking control of hardware, using Mainstage's built-in learn function. So in this instance, you control the hardware from the software-side and make your settings in Mainstage.
Is there support for Reason Rack Extensions?
Almost all Rack Extensions are pre-mapped with standard-maps, which means that all of the most commonly used parameters and envelopes are mapped. You can also use “Grab” to learn and customize mapping on the fly.
Do I need to install DAW Integration when I want to use Nektarine to control instrument plug-ins?
No. After installing Nektarine, you can control any VST, VST3 and AU plugin instantly in any VST or AU compatible host.
What plug-ins are pre-mapped for Panorama T4 and T6 and where can I find this information?
Nektar has pre-mapped many popular instrument plugins, including NI Kontakt and Komplete. A list of the currently mapped plugins is available here: www.nektartech.com/panorama-t4-t6-maps.html
Can I create my own plug-in maps?
Yes. With Nektar DAW Integration you can "Grab"/learn parameters on the active instrument immediately. Deep maps can be created and stored in Nektarine using its graphical editor. The maps are universal and are instantly available in any DAW that loads Nektarine.
Can I control VST effects plug-ins with Panorama T4 and T6?
The first release of Nektarine only supports instrument plugins.
Will Nektarine replace Nektar DAW Integration?
No. Nektarine and DAW Integration complement each other: Nektarine enables universal plugin control and management without being restricted by or linked to a particular DAW. Nektar DAW Integration allows to control a DAW and its internal plugins.Together, these components create a very powerful system with a transparent workflow.
Is Nektarine a “wrapper”?
Nektarine is a plugin that hosts plugins. Some people refer to this as a “wrapper”. It doesn’t need to create special versions of plugins in order to work, though: It works transparently with the plugins you already have.
Will Nektarine be usable with Panorama P1, P4 and P6?
Initially, Nektarine only supports the Panorama T-series. We are working on support for the Panorama P-series. It should become available at the end of 2018.
